WHAT IS FLOATING?
Floating in a super saturated solution of Epsom salts and water frees you from the sensation of gravity, temperature, touch, sight, and sound. This highly restorative state will reset your body and mind so you can RELAX. REVIVE. REJUVINATE.
The float tank is a unique environment where light, sounds, and temperature sensations are reduced. The attenuated external stimulation inside of the tank lets you focus on what’s happening inside of your body. You may hear and be very focused on your heart beat and your breathing or you may notice tension in your muscles and other past traumas in the body.

PREPARING FOR YOUR FLOAT
If it’s your first visit to Chalarosi, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment.

Remove all of your clothing and jewelry.

Shower thoroughly before entering the tank, removing all makeup, body sprays, and perfumes/colognes.

Enter the tank and close the door or lid.

Gently lie back and let the buoyancy of the water help you float.

Music plays for 10 minutes at the start of your session to help you relax.

Float for an hour.
-
Music plays for the last five minutes of your session.

Get out of the tank once your session has ended.

Shower again and get dressed.
To help you relax and get the most out of your session, it is recommended that you eat something approximately 30 minutes before your session. It’s also helpful to avoid caffeine for four hours beforehand.

Shaving or waxing before a session is not recommended as the salt in the water can irritate the skin.
